Informationsfreiheit ist wertlos, wenn sie nicht in Anspruch genommen wird. Während die deutsche Website befreite-dokumente.de des Chaos Computer Clubs (CCC) wohl als Reinfall bezeichnet werden muss, findet man in den USA durchaus Modelle, die die unkomplizierte Suche in Dokumenten anbieten, die unter den Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) fallen. Die Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) hat nun ein neues Tool vorgestellt, welches die Suche in tausenden von “befreiten” Dokumenten ermöglicht.
